Sardine Arugula Salad with Lemon, Parmesan,? and Pita Chip Croutons
I have found that people either despise sardines or absolutely love them. I honestly never enjoyed them even though my sisters devoured with saltine crackers when we were kids ? ? but now…. I have a new appreciation especially when I know it’s good for my body and brain. And now I have the chef skills to make it tasty ?
Like salmon, sardines contain a lot of Omega-3 (1,300mg/4.3oz) and they contain the preferred omega 3s DHA +EPA (versus nuts and seeds that contain ALA) omega3’s can reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure, improve brain cognition/memory/mood and synthesize endocannabinoids which all lends to homeostasis within the body
And if that wasn’t enough to get you to try this recipe then surely the #nocooking will convince you! Super simple, fuss free and fresh.
